Hubertus von Aulock – Veteran Configuration Management Expert

With over 40 years of dedicated experience in the aviation industry, Hubertus (known as Hubi amongst his peers) is a seasoned Configuration Management Expert renowned for his expertise in maintenance program planning and execution. Graduating from Maitland Technikon and Denel Aviation, he has a rich history of working in multi-regulatory environments, ensuring that aviation operations meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Throughout his illustrious career, Hubi has honed his skills in line maintenance, regulatory compliance, aircraft systems, and airworthiness. His unique experience includes operating helicopters from sea-borne vessels, showcasing his adaptability and deep understanding of complex aviation systems.

At leading organizations like Denel Aviation, Seaspan ULC and CHC Helicopter, Hubi played pivotal roles:

  • Maintenance Project Manager at Seaspan ULC: Overseeing maintenance projects with precision and adherence to industry regulations.
  • Maintenance Program Planner at CHC Helicopter: Developing, updating, and optimizing multiple maintenance programs across different regulatory environments. He successfully introduced new maintenance programming software in multiple countries, including the implementation of Helisoft in Australia and contributing to the global implementation of AMOS for the worldwide fleet.

Passionate about improving reliability and availability in aviation, Hubi specializes in implementing configuration management processes and developing maintenance programs that are both cost-effective and safe. Our commitment to excellence makes him an invaluable asset to our team.
